HUICHOL

"Xeïríiya" is a series of acrylic paintings incorporating modern imagery. The artworks are characterized by their unique blend of contemporary and traditional elements. These pieces are then manipulated by traditional Huichol indigenous artists who use glass beads to create their own symbolism and handcraft. The name "Xeïríiya" comes from the Huichol language, and it translates to "putting many things or people together." Symbolizing the different narratives of every artwork.
